BRS: KCR ignored Telangana's aspirations - Ministers fire

Telangana ministers reacted strongly to the comments made by BRS chief KCR in the Elkathurthi Sabha . Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Ponguleti together criticized KCR severely. They were furious that he was forgetting the aspirations of the people and indulging in opportunistic politics. They accused him of acting only for his own interests without respecting the sacrifices and goals of the Telangana movement.

Questions on the ten-year rule

The ministers publicly denounced KCR. “What happened to the promise of giving three acres of land to Dalits during the ten years of rule? How many people got three times the double bedroom house project? Has the Rs. 1 lakh loan waiver promised to farmers been completely done? Why did you show negligence when valuable lands like Gachibowli were in the hands of private individuals?” they asked a series of questions. They said that it is unfortunate that the promises made to the people are forgotten and that they are trying to come back with new promises.

Ministers should inform the public of the truth

The ministers opined that there is a need to bring the inefficiencies that occurred during the KCR regime to the public and reveal the truth. They said that they will organize programs to make the people aware so that they do not get deceived again and to remind them of the betrayals of the last ten years. The ministers called on the people to give appropriate judgment on those who have sacrificed the movement for Telangana's self-respect for commercial politics.
